What is MSFT 5.0 and dhcpcd-5.5.6 on my router?
Could this have anything to do with my Synology NAS?
Why is the device type shown in the light cat MSFT 5.0? Let's look at a picture of a light cat. Then look at the process of assigning IP addresses to DHCP Discover-offer. Additionally, the traditional Client Vendor Name has been updated for some Windows-based devices. This value used to be simply MSFT 5.0. Some devices will now show up as MSFT 5.0.
On your keyboard press Windows R keys at a time. This will open the Run dialog box. Type cmd in the Run box and press Enter to open Command Prompt.
I noticed one of my PCs changed its name on its own to MSFT 5.0. Been trying to change it back to no avail. Anyone else experiencing this or is it time to reboot the dang GT-AX6000.
