Nuggets Defeat Timberwolves 140-128 in Game 6

Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray Lead the Charge

The Denver Nuggets have advanced to the Western Conference semifinals after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 140-128 in Game 6 at Ball Arena on Friday night. Serbian center Nikola Jokić led the way for the Nuggets with a dominant performance, posting a triple-double of 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Jokić was unstoppable in the paint, converting 12 of his 17 field goal attempts. He also dished out 7 assists and grabbed 14 rebounds, many of which came on the offensive glass. Canadian guard Jamal Murray was also excellent for the Nuggets, scoring 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting, including 4-of-10 from three-point range.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 30 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Nuggets' dominance inside. Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 11 rebounds, but he struggled to find his rhythm offensively. D'Angelo Russell also struggled, scoring just 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting.
